About Todd A. Kawecki

Todd Kawecki is a Florida native. Born, raised, and educated in Jupiter, he received his law degree from Florida State University where he was on the National Dean’s List and won national acclaim in mock trial competitions.
After graduating from the FSU College of Law, Todd began practicing law as a prosecutor for the 19th Judicial Circuit in Martin and St. Lucie Counties. While working for the State Attorney, he prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from Misdemeanors to 1st Degree Felonies while learning the inner workings of the legal system in this area. In addition to his trial skills, Todd Kawecki also became known for his in-depth knowledge of DUI Law and participated in many advanced seminars for DUI.
In 2012, Todd made the decision to leave the Prosecutor’s Office and open his own firm protecting the rights of those in his community. Since then, he has successfully represented thousands of clients in all types of criminal matters. His core philosophy is to make good decisions off of good information. He ensures that clients are not only provided with all available information but fully informed along the way including discussions of all potential pretrial motions, case outcome options, and the risks of each. He has fought hard for thousands of clients with great results and looks forward to using his 18 years of criminal law experience to fight for you.

About Amanda Kawecki

Amanda attended Florida State University College of Law as a Broad and Cassel Scholar. After graduation in 2008 she spent the next 5 years working as a prosecutor for the 19th Judicial Circuit handling thousands of cases including juvenile, traffic, misdemeanor and felony. In addition to her trial experience, she also handled diversionary courts such as Drug Court and Mental Health Court on behalf of the State Attorney’s Office.
In 2013, Amanda joined a prominent personal injury firm where she handled all aspects of personal injury claims including litigation. Realizing she could do even more to help her injury clients, Amanda created and implemented the firm’s social security disability practice. During this time, she developed a deep understanding of how medical conditions both physical and mental can impact all areas of one’s life including criminal court cases.
Amanda joined Kawecki Law in 2023 where she continues to fight for her clients in all types of criminal matters. Her legal research and writing skills are an invaluable asset to the firm as it has led to the successful resolution of many cases through motions to suppress and dismissals. Since joining Kawecki Law, she has assisted clients in all types of criminal matters including criminal traffic, felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, mental health court, drug court, expungements and sealing, as well as victim representation. Amanda believes that representing clients is not only about zealous representation but also providing compassion to clients who are experiencing some of the most difficult moments of their life.
