Todd Kawecki is a Florida native. Born, raised, and educated in Jupiter, he received his law degree from Florida State University where he was on the National Dean’s List and won national acclaim in mock trial competitions.
After graduating from the FSU College of Law, Todd was admitted to the Florida Bar and began practicing law as a prosecutor for the 19th Judicial Circuit in Martin and St. Lucie Counties. While working for the State Attorney, he prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from Misdemeanors to 1st Degree Felonies while learning the inner workings of the legal system in this area. As a prosecutor he was lead counsel in 32 jury trials, 21 of which were in the felony division. In addition to his trial skills, Todd Kawecki also became known for his in-depth knowledge of DUI Law and participated in many advanced seminars for DUI. Todd’s remarkable record as a prosecutor earned him the M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Outstanding Prosecutor Award. In 2012, Todd made the decision to leave the Prosecutor’s Office and work to protect the rights of those in his community and has done so with remarkable success.
